Guy began his real estate career at NRS Block Bros. in 1984 and in 1989 he became a part owner of a successful RE/MAX franchise in St. James. An avid runner and cyclist, Guy is a huge supporter of the trail movement in Manitoba. In 1999-2001 Guy worked as the provincial coordinator for the Trans Canada Trail Relay 2000, the Federal Government's premier Millennium Project to join the Trans Canada Trail across the country.
Guy is a past board member of the Manitoba Recreational Trail Association and supports the local arts community. He can be seen cycling the Harte Trail in Charleswood where he makes his home with his two boys.
